Burn Note is built by professionals who needed a quick, secure way to share sensitive information in real-world scenarios — from sending credentials as a DevOps manager to sharing payment details with suppliers. We believe security and privacy should be simple, effective, and transparent.
Burn Note is not associated with the now-defunct Burn Note app (2012–2016). We are an entirely new platform designed for secure, one-time note sharing via the web — no mobile app or ongoing chat service.
Security & Privacy
Burn Note uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to ensure your messages are encrypted in the browser before they ever leave your device, and decrypted only once by the recipient. This eliminates server-side access to plaintext data and aligns with best practices for secure communication.
We design Burn Note to help support compliance with frameworks like SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA by enabling ephemeral, encrypted sharing of sensitive data.
